Drinking water first thing in the morning.
The idea is to get up and immediately drink four glasses of water and nothing else. Wait at least 45 minutes before having any coffee or tea or breakfast.
Drinking cold water with meals can cause sludge in the intestines and lead to cancer. So drink room temperature water. Why would you want to do this? I used to do this before getting on the bike and run for a couple of years and have had a lot of energy in the morning. I never knew if the energy was from drinking the water or from the exercise itself. Drinking water or anything in the morning will kick start your metabolism and I have to agree that over the last week I have had a lot more energy and a much better level of concentration to get more done in the early morning.

i've been trying to rethink what i consume and ever since i stopped drinking alcohol I have had a new relationship with water. the bit about drinking cold water with meals not being a good idea makes sense. thanks for the knowledge! i'm going to start tomorrow with water!
make sure to tell folks the dangers of plastic bottles!
