Steps ||||||||||||||||||||||
- Your first step is to decide what the tea will be for. This will help you decide what kinds of herbs to put in. For example, if you want to make a relaxing tea, you can use herbs like chamomile and spearmint. I'll go into this in more detail after I outline the steps.
- Once you decide what the tea will be for, you will need to select the herbs. If you don't have a lot of experience, you can follow a recipe that someone else came up with.
- Then, you'll need to mix the herbs together. I usually combine them in a large mixing bowl and stir them gently with a wooden spoon.
- Lastly, you'll need to decide how you'll store it. The most important thing is to find a way to keep the blend away from heat and light. My favorite is to use amber colored glass jars but you can use anything as long as you store it correctly. (I've also used plastic containers, clear glass jars, and plastic bags.)
Instead of relying on a company like Celestial Seasonings to make it for you, MAKE TIME to do it yourself by going to an herb shop nearest you. There is ONE IN EVERY MAJOR CITY so there is no excuse.

Rituals!
I have a song I play every time I drink tea. Make this your daily practice if possible as a reminder ofwhat your supposed to do. Walk out doors afterwards. Whatever it takes. Prayer beads remind us to pray. Baths remind us to be clean. We need more rituals in our daily life with so many radioactice distractions .Sip from this upful cup of peace! P.S.Heres my tune...!
