"Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny."
We'd like to think we post things that hit home. Not just the surface energy. Content and character, nourishing for the mind. People shun away at things that are too hard to face or they act like they don't exist in there world. Transplant someone out of there comfort zone and the true essence of that person is visible. The same feelings are felt from the projects in New York to the tenement yard in Jamaica. From the vegan spot on Haight Street to the Soul Veg on Georgia Avenue. Why act as if your better. There is no best. There just "is". We are all one and the same no matter where we are from. This is the reality of humanism, that many are afraid to face but some embrace or make fashionable.Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny."
This mini doc set to Miles Davis "Bitches Brew" brings out the essence. "The whole episode seems unreal. The Jazz music and little tiny audio effects on his voice combined with the lights and sped-up/reversed visuals make the very harsh reality look like a movie. Of course this is the intention about it. Like aesthetically appealing war photography". Look past yourself to find yourself.
