Nature's Magic: Jenny Lee Fowler

I truly love all things green that grow, the magic in nature is something to be celebrated.  I stumbled across an artist who has been able to marry her love and appreciation of trees, leaves, and things with the human form.  Her name is Jenny Lee Fowler and she began as a child by cutting a snowflake for each snowfall.  Over the years, her snowflakes have grown increasingly intricate and animate, reflecting her deep love of folks, nature, and the magic in them.  At first glance, it may seem like an optical illusion but, nothing is traced, it is completely free-hand.  Her silhouettes are cut from heirloom paper, tree bark, and leaves.  Her work has been described as "sweet and quiet, kind of like watching rain fall."  Find a tree to sit under and delight in all your days...Bless and Be Well....Peace...
