Solar Decathlon Houses in Washington DC?

Its raining a lot this week in DC so there isn't a lot of solar energy available :(

I am all for new ways to increase awareness and activism in this global crisis but as usual I have to question everything. The department of energy must be giving money away and it makes me wonder why people are still living without heat or lights in the land of the free.... More HERE
