Thanksgiving Volunteer Opportunity at Meridian Public Charter

If you are looking for a way to give back for the holiday's here is the perfect opportunity. Last week I bumped into Gloria, the Executive Director of the DC Commision of the Arts and she mentioned that they need some Artistic folks to volunteer at Meridian Public Charter to spend some time with kids from Sasha Bruce house. Meridian will hold thanksgiving dinner Nov 25 from 4-6pm and would like to pair the kids with individuals that can inspire them and speak to them about the ARTS. If interested, please see the information below.

Thank you IV the Polymath for inspiring us to live our life through service:)

This Thanksgiving, the residents of the Sasha Bruce House will enjoy a fully catered Thanksgiving feast complete with live music and visual arts activities! Sasha Bruce House residents will be paired with local DC artists and guests for individual opportunities to create and discover art.

This event is sponsored by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities in partnership with the Meridian International Center, the DC Central Kitchen, and the Executive Office of the Mayor.

Wednesday, November 25, 4:00 - 6:00pm
