Eating Right 4 Your Blood Type: A..AB..B..O....

There has been so much judgement lately as to why ones eat the way that they do. (Big Ups to FireBird)..The truth is that every one's constitution requires something different. There may be ones that really need animal protein in order to create an equilibrium within, and others, like myself, who are really meant to thrive off of all things green. We could argue that its moral or our various rituals and religious beliefs, but at the end of the day, its really in the blood.

The variations, strengths, and weaknesses of each blood group can be seen as part of humanity's continual process of acclimating to different environmental changes. Many of the distinctions between the blood groups involve basic functions of our digestive and immune systems. When we think of foods that we are naturally allergic to, we rarely associate it with our constitution or blood type. The word allergy means "altered working". They are responses mounted by the immune system to a particular food, inhalant, or chemical. With a true food allergy, an individual's immune system will over react to an ordinarily harmless food. This is caused by an allergic antibody called immunoglobulin E. The most common trigger foods that result in 90% of most allergic reactions are: Proteins in cow's milk, eggs, peanuts, wheat, soy, shellfish, and tree nuts.

Blood Type A

Amongst the blood types, A's are truly meant to be vegetarians, this is due to having low stomach acid, which makes it difficult for ones to digest meat. The most beneficial foods for A types are: Green vegetables, fruit, tofu, tempeh, grains, beans, and legumes. The most aggravating foods are: Red meats, Pork, dairy products, kidney beans, lima beans, tomatoes, and wheat.

Blood Type AB

AB's can enjoy most foods in moderation. Ones can tolerate dairy foods fairly well, but must establish a certain level of balance when it comes to foods that create mucous in the system. The most beneficial foods for AB types are: Lean meats, seafood, some dairy, tofu, beans, legumes, grains, vegetables, kelp, and pineapple. The most aggravating foods are: red meat, kidney beans, most seeds, corn, and buckwheat.

Blood Type B

B's are referred to as the "balanced omnivore" Its really important that ones with this blood type avoid chicken. Chicken contains a blood type B agglutinating lectin in its muscle tissue, which attacks the bloodstream, potentially resulting in immune disorders and possible stroke. The most beneficial foods for B types are: Lean meats (no chicken), dairy products, grains, beans, legumes, vegetables, fruit, eggs (cage-free), venison (deer meat), liver, and licorice tea. The most aggravating foods are: Corn, lentils, peanuts, sesame seeds, buckwheat, and wheat.

Blood Type O

True meat eaters, type O's thrive on intense physical exercise and animal protein. Unlike other blood types, they have a high stomach acid content. Lean, hormone-free meats should be a staple in their diet. The most beneficial foods for Type O's are: All cuts of lean meats, seafood, vegetables(spinach..kale..and broccoli in particular), fruit, kelp, sea salt, and beef liver. Ones can eat beans, grains, and legumes in moderation. The most aggravating foods are: wheat, corn, navy and kidney beans, lentils, cabbage, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and mustard greens.
