->->->->Roasted Chickpeas<-<-<-<-

Next time you're looking for a snack, get busy with this roasted chickpea recipe...


Ingredients:

Chickpeas
Olive Oil
Cayenne Pepper
Garlic Powder
Sea Salt


Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Toss chickpeas with olive oil, cayenne pepper, garlic powder & sea salt to taste in large mixing bowl.
Place on baking sheet & cook for 20-40 minutes, until browned & crunchy.
Turn/stir every 10 minutes to avoid burning.
Enjoy!

Nice! This recipe is very similar to the one I used to make kale chips and another recipe for okra. Just substitute chickpeas for kale or okra. The okra also tastes great with old bay seasoning.

Less heat for kale around 300 degrees i believe. You can see what temp works best so it doesn't burn.

Gotta try this. seems simple. Any sauces I can ad to it or is it just raw? I will check this post 2moro for ur response cus I am tryn to be a man about mine and cook :) EZ

You don't need to add any sauce - when you toss them around in the olive oil & spices it's like a marinade & then the flava bakes onto them. Hope they turn out well. Peace.
