It's very rare when we truly get a songstress amongst the masses of since the industry is based on imitation and gimmick. The sun shines through here though, with the advent of a truly magical voice in Mataniu. First introduced on BBC radio, Mataniu is reminiscent of a young Abbey Lincoln or Mid twenties Phyllis Hyman.
