Talia Radford's Water Purifier



Industrial designer Talia Radford's unusual-looking AquaIris water purifier concept, meant to be slung over a shoulder and carried with a strap, uses no electricity or conventional charcoal filters; instead a grid of "converter crystals"--lenses, really--is intended to focus the sun's rays into an ultraviolet frequency that blasts the water molecules clean without affecting its taste.
