Do you remember the 1st house clubs in the Chi? or Paradise Garage (often insulting called the Gay-rage) in NY? From the beginning, house clubs have had a gay stigma or association, where straight dancers learned to co-exist with the gay crowd. Of course, all house heads weren't gay, but one must recognize the gay contribution, like those of Larry Levan or Frankie Knuckles...but wait a minute...Have you watched the documentary? If not, please do, as well as the documentary, "Maestro." I AM NOT BASHING THIS POST BUT I APPRECIATE THE openness to the world of music u guys have show me. FEELING IS FEELING (((period)))
