Homemade Black Bean Burgers w/ Guacamole
Peace. Made this one up out of thin air and it turned out pretty well.
Ingredients: Black Beans, Whole Wheat Flour, Green Pepper, Carrots, Parsley, Cilantro, Corn, jalapeno pepper, lime, 1 egg replacement (try 1 tablespoon of ground flax seed to 2-3 tablespoons of water until it is the consistency of an egg white).
Spices: Cumin, Chili Powder, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Sea Salt
Directions: Mash beans into a paste. Add finely chopped vegetables & herbs (shred the carrots). Add egg replacement & enough flour to make it thick & stick together. Add spices to taste. Squeeze in the lime & add a bit of olive oil if you prefer. Form into patties & bake on 350-400, turning halfway.
Burgers might not get really firm. They are still very enjoyable.
